Rough It Up

An early gaming project launched in 2012 starring anthropormorphic characters, “Rough It Up” was a 2D arcade brawler that followed a young pit-bull mix dog, Red, and his feline friend, Lucky, to rescue a companion from the clutches of the class bully and quasi-evil mastermind, Remi. The project was lead by comic artist and TV colourist CJ Cannon. I was brought on to the team to flesh out and refine and iterate preexisting concepts to match the overarching project style, produce technical sheets for the animation team, and later to create and refine additional concepts and characters to populate the game world.
